I am not a tactical or military person but I love anything that has the military look. I think it must be left over from a previous incarnation. I have been looking high and low for a militaryish looking notebook or organizer but nothing came close until I saw this cover. I absolutely love it with all its extra pockets and hiding places and other features. Whoever designed this did a fantastic job. It's like the cargo pants I always wear. It is definitely super-surdy and will probably outlast me. I can take it outside and drop it in the dirt and it will only add more character to it. I have other Cordura products and know that it is one of the hardiest materials for packs and other outside gear. By the way, I am a lady person who loves to go hiking, camping and other outside activities so this is definitely not just for the guys. I'll have to buy some more morale patches now to stick on the front. Keep up the good work and thanks for the quick service.

I saw this cover and was weary about the cost. So i went with a cheaper smaller alternative. That didn't work out. It is a field binder. It doesn't fit in any cargo pocket I have. And it doesn't fit into a kangaroo pouch on my plate carrier. This is a Binder more easily stored in the Velcro flap of an ALICE pack, the space between stays of an external frame, or a compartment in a 3 day assault pack.
For the cost I think it should come with a 3 ring binder. Yeah they are cheap and easy enough to get tho.

This case is exactly what I was looking for, something to keep a notepad and some pens that would take a beating. There are enough pockets and pouches to carry anything you need. I'm able to carry my kindle, glasses, a notepad, and pens/pencils. The zippers are all more than sized for rough treatment and the material has held up wonderfully. I definitely recommend this product!
