I don't review ALL of the products I get on Amazon, but I was HIGHLY impressed with this product and felt that although it has a very good overall rating, some of the reviews were pretty unfair. So I will address some of them and add some of my thoughts at the end. First of all, automatically disregard any review that faults it for some ham fisted delivery personnel, it's a product review, not a shipping review. Second, disregard any reviews that mention how easily it tips over. Unless you are organizing a feather collection, it needs to be anchored... That's common sense. Some reviews mention the bins being brittle, absolutely not, they are actually quite flexible, yet sturdy. Some reviews mention the drawer stops being cheap and "probably" won't hold the drawer in if there's a good amount of weight. Well I have one drawer that has almost 4 pounds of bolts in it and the drawer stop works fine.

I initially bought just one of these to see how I thought it would hold up/work for my application. About 3 days after the first one arrived, I ordered a second because I was VERY happy with it. I do want to point out the unit on the right in my photo. If you look closely you will notice that it does have a SLIGHT sag to it...there is 45 pounds of hardware in that unit (not including the weight of the product itself). Not an exaggerated figure, not a guess, I weighed it. The optional hanging bracket for this unit is rated at 40 pounds, so it's safe to say I'm exceeding the design specifications. Even with it sagging, all of the drawers still function smoothly; however, in the interest of ensuring long term fatigue doesn't get the best of it, I will make a simple shelf underneath of them.

The only problem I have with them is that they are TOO handy and I'm putting ALL of my small items in them, so now I need a third lol.

For an American product, this falls very short. I bought this to arrange screws and bolts in my shop and it is very poorly made. The drawers slide out too easily, even when loaded and when you pull out and push back one drawer you will find several drawers sliding out whether you want them to or not. The stops for the drawers are flimsy and unlikely to preclude the drawers falling out. A slight tilt and all the drawers slide out, a disaster in the making especially with sharp parts and fasteners in the drawers. One missed screw could waste a $500 tire. There are very few dividers and they need to be cut from the back panel; I did not need them so did not cut them loose, but if you need dividers you need to look elsewhere. Sadly the cabinets made overseas are actually better than this one so I am back to using the old ones I had. Akro-Mills has a long history in making good products so this is a shame. Amazon was outstanding in returning this item.

I bought all three (24, 44, 64 bins) as a trio for electronic repair. I have the set stacked and recessed into a unused wall hollow. Be prepared to trim some of the clear excess casting material from the bins. I had to do this on 20% of the bins or they will not slide properly. It only takes 3 seconds, but it must be done.

Akro Mils 10744 44-Drawer Hardware and Craft Cabinet, Red and Gray

I have been very happy with my Akro Mils 44-Drawer Cabinet. I have been using it for since January 2016 to hold and organize all areas of baking items. I have my icing tips organized in shape and sizes in the small drawers, and my fondant tools in the larger drawers and lots of other baking and decorating tools are stored in the cabinet. I store so many items in there it has made it really nice to not have to make countless trips back and forth from the pantry to get something I may have forgotten or need. I just pick up the cabinet/bin and bring it with me into the kitchen and it saves me so much time and energy, especially when I am doing a large cake or multiple things at once. Sometimes I'll be make a cake, cookies, and cupcakes at the same time for the same birthday or holiday. That's a lot of trips back and forth and this saves me.

I have owned different cabinet/bins that are similar to this. What I really like is the what I call soft plastic drawers. Some of the other cabinets have the hard rigid plastic drawers which have broken on me in the past when I have dropped them on the floor. The drawers also can be divided, so you can get even more organization.

So far I have not had any complaints or problems with cracking, breaking, or bending. I am very happy this cabinet is working out.

Fantastic for organizing Lego pieces that aren't bricks! The black dividers help, but I just wish more came with it. I ended up making my own out of the stuff you can find in the craft section at Walmart. (I forget the name, but it's something like loop something mat lol sorry). They worked great as dividers!
