This is a better than excellent valance for the price. I bought it for my black & white kitchen - white cabinets & appliances, black granite countertops. I bought it based on many reviews & Q&A that said that it's white. It's not white. However, it doesn't clash with white at all, and looks great on the window flanked by 2 white cabinets. It might help that the window trim isn't perfectly white either. The cabinets, however, are definitely bright white - yet I'm in love with this valance every time I walk into the room, and I'm a stickler for detail and for color coordination. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the strip of checks isn't a strip, but rather an entire separate panel of checks behind the toile. This adds some substance and makes the whole valance drape quite nicely. I do wish that it were lined, but this is incredibly nice anyway, and there's no way you would get a lined valance of this quality for this price. I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

Even after reading a negative review of this comforter [in red toile], I ordered the Queen size toile bed comforter in blue and and am happy to say we love it. It is just the right weight for comfortable sleeping, just the right toile pattern and color, is substantial, well-made, and looks great on our bed. It is a replacement for a similar toile-pattern cotton quilt we enjoyed for 3 decades until it wore out. We also like knowing it ws made in the U.S.A.

I was extremely happy with these curtains from the get-go. They are very well-made and pretty. The fabric is a nice hefty lightweight duck. While not exactly "room-darkening", I found they do let less light in than chintz curtains I had up before (a good thing, in my opinion). As others have noted, you cannot put a thick rod through the header at the top, but that was not a problem for me, as I always use old-fashioned standard curtain rods. I will definitely buy curtains made by this company again.

Made in USA! Very nice quality valance for over my patio french doors, covers the blinds hardware and really pulled my open dining room together. I wasn't sure about the blue gingham, but it's not overly cutesy and adds an Octoberfest vibe alongside my cuckoo clock collection. I used 2 valances for over my approx. 100" wide doors.

These toile Ellis Curtains are really lovely and have added sunshine to our bedroom. I wanted to put them over the new wooden blinds but changed my mind and hung them behind the bed instead and do they ever look fabulous the minute you walk into the room! Ellis products are quality plus fabrics, hang beautifully, and have the plus factor of being sold as a Pair instead of the blasted Single panels that other companies sell. For goodness' sake, curtains should come in pairs and Ellis knows that which is so nice. Order these right now and enjoy your quality curtains!
