Great Rack - Easy Assembly
Robert G. Stone•May 10, 2017
My ten year old daughter assembled the bike rack with minimal assistance. The key to easy assembly is to not tighten any of the bolts until all are started. When tightening, start from the frame flat on the floor to prevent wobbling and work upward until all bolt are tight.
If you mange to assemble it (I'm an engineer), It does it's job.

- Did not come with any tools. Just a warning if you don't have a socket set.
- Smaller bolts where between 9mm and 10mm, larger bolts between 13mm and 14mm. Had to use the larger socket which was not a great fit. Did not work with any of my Imperial sockets.
- Manufacturing precision was beyond poor. Pieces did not come close to aligning. Had to assembly them in a particular order and use quite a bit of force to get them aligned enough to screw in the bolts.
- Good heft to the product. Stable enough to hold the bikes.
- Does not sit flat on the floor, wobbles back and forth like an uneven table.
- Painted metal parts came with with a few scuffs.
- Does it's job. Works best, IMHO, with the back wheel in the rack.
BOTTOM LINE: Look for a different product.

Maybe buy two, with the intent to return one
Amazon Customer•July 16, 2016
So, the original bike rack that I purchased had to be returned. The holes for the bolts were only somewhat drilled through, with one missed completely. The bolts didn't fit in some other holes, and there was no way to put the rack together. I returned it with no issues, and got a replacement rack that was much better. However, there was still a piece that didn't work. Luckily I still had the first rack at that time, and I switched the piece out of one box for the other. Maybe think about buying two and returning the unused one when you switch out the parts that actually work properly. All in all, the rack is now functioning as it should - it's holding up two adult road bikes, side by side, just fine.
Assembly issues, but bike stand is satisfactory

My experience with the assembly of this bike stand was not that great. The first shipment had several mis-tapped holes (meaning, the spiral threads were not cut right), making it impossible to screw the parts together. Also, the hardware packet did not have all the required screws and bolts for assembly.
Amazon replaced the product quickly, with 2-day shipping. With both hardware packets, I ended up with good holes and the right screws and bolts to complete the assembly. With all the proper parts, assembly took about 15 minutes, and I am pleased with the rack itself. It has a good, basic design and keeps the bikes neat and tidy.

This 2 bike floor stand is an excellent value

This bike stand was delivered during a lull in the tropical storm so we put it together. It was easy to assemble (needs a ratchet set to put it together), had it put together and outside with 2 bikes in place within 25 minutes. You can't beat the price.
