one of the best starter kits out
Alexthescribe•June 17, 2017
have used this before, one of the best starter kits out there
Works great, but small

Works great, but small. The pour funnel works well.
I could wish for finer sand, but I have no complaints.
A great starter kit.

A great starter kit.
Kit is okay. Tongs are dangerous.
Seth D. Wilson•June 28, 2016
The tongs are dangerous. They allow the crucible to rotate and don't grip properly. If it was full of hot metal it would have spilled everywhere. I ended up throwing them away and just using an old pair of channel locks to pour the crucible.
Also, the metal included in the kit would not melt. After 20 minutes of holding the Mapp gas torch to it, the metal was just hot. It must have been left over from when they made Captain America's shield or something like that! Throw it away too. Use some lead free AC Pewter for your first attempt.

I love it

Great item. And an awesome price
Using this is not as easy as other kits I've seen

Using this is not as easy as other kits I've seen. The materials are just okay. The sand isn't appropriate for even medium detail, and the block is so small that it's uses are severely limited
