The large attachment piece on the handle presses against my ...

The large attachment piece on the handle presses against my wrist when I do curls with it (which is all I use it for). Other than that, it does what it's supposed to.

This is probably not an intended result of the design, but I use the pattern in the braid to make sure the bands aren't twisted. Hold the handles apart and twist one until the blue line is straight, as apposed to barber-poled.
This has surprisingly a lot of resistance - it feels like about 25 to 30 pounds in each arm

PURPLE 'very heavy resistance' band: This band is a BEAST. I'd say like 50 pounds in each arm. I can barely do curls and overhead presses with it, not even in proper form. This band is only if you are advanced in weight training.

RED 'medium resistance' band: This has surprisingly a lot of resistance - it feels like about 25 to 30 pounds in each arm. Probably NOT for a beginner who is starting out. It feels ultra quality and sturdy.
Best resistance bands on the market, period!

These are the best resistance bands, period. I've owned 2 previously which I gave away because I needed stronger resistance. After many years of personal heavy use, they were still in perfect shape and continue to serve well in their new homes. I don't even bother with any other ones, knowing that eventually they'll rip. These are well worth the little extra price, they LAST. The handles are well made and comfortable. Honestly there's nothing negative to say.
Quantitative measure of resistance

This might help you gauge the resistance: Curling with this feels the same to me as curling with the 27.5-lb dumbbells at the gym. When I stand on the band, my feet are about 8" apart, from big toe to big toe. I am 5-11. I repeat sets of 10 reps, on short rest. The handles are very comfortable; no problems whatsoever. Besides curls, I use this for upper-back pullbacks, and triceps push backs, by looping the band through a secure holder. For these two exercises, I repeat sets of 25 reps, on very short rest. There's nothing like "working the pump" with a resistance band.
Sturdy construction, braids improve safety from breakage.

Sturdy construction. Works as advertised. My only concerns are the durability of the somewhat thinly padded handles and the rubber tubing ends connected to the handles, which scratch my hands, eg when I do curls. Otherwise pretty pleased.
