I first learned of Roebic products here on Amazon and their products work. Their products are now the only products I buy because they actually work!

We follow the yearly prescription of using a combination of Roebic products at specific intervals. K-87 is just one of the four products that we use each year to keep the septic system in good order. They are very helpful on the phone to answer any questions so don't hesitate to call them. We just stick with the whole program and feel it is a good investment in overall maintenance.

I purchased a new (much larger) washing machine due to needing more capacity for laundry. Problem was, the new machine pumps A LOT faster and it overwhelmed my stand pipe. I pulled the pipe off and it seemed clear, just a lot of build up soap and lint. I purchased this product and followed the directions. I didn't run laundry for four days, and did 1/4 of the bottle everyday chased with warm water. By letting the enzymes sit in the pipe, I believe that helped them work a lot better. Ran my first load a day after the final treatment and no overflow. Will buy more and do maintenance treatments every 6 weeks so the problem doesn't return.

Good for 4-5 applications to a bathroom sink drain. Not sure it did an outstanding job of dissolving the crud that builds up at the pipe between the p-trap and the vertical line, but I am hoping it will keep this sink clear so I don't have to disassemble it to manually unclog it. It was not totally clogged before so I am unsure whether or not it increased the drain rate much.

After viewing the information on the Roebic site about the 4-step (quarterly) product introduction I decided to stop using a competing brand and give it a try. The S.G.P. was used in my shower (5 doses - one night after another for a week) and one dose in my bathroom sink.

The results were fantastic in the sink! It's the main bath for the house and I have a teenage daughter who uses a lot of hair products, soap and lotions that all get rinsed down the drain. This stuff took care of a slow drain overnight without an issue.

For the shower drain - the reason I got this product - my results were less stellar.

I used it one night after the next for 5 nights. The product was mixed per the directions on the bottle and poured down the drain prior to my going to bed each night. The product stayed in the drain undisturbed for 8-10 hours each day before hot water was rinsed down the drain. The shower drain had been somewhat slow and it still is. I really don't notice a big change, but it's possible the product kicked loose some crud that is now slowly making it's way down to the septic.

I have purchased all 4 of the products listed on their site to use in combination for my septic's health. I may purchase more of this product and give my shower drain another dose. Just not as impressed with it as I wanted to be.
