Bought this for my wife to use in her office job. She reports it is ideal with clear calls, easy to use, and is amazed that she can go all the way to the back of the building she works in without any loss of clarity in calls. Pleased with the purchase and the extra touch (candy) that was sent along by the customer service rep.
Very nice but very expensive headset

The only headset I've used where I get compliments from the other party on the line about how clear I sound. The only downsides are the cost and the fact it won't connect to my cell phone via bluetooth. This is why I gave it four stars rather than 5. Also, the included instructions are skeletal. A visit to the website for more information is mandatory.
I use the headset with a softphone on my computer. While at my desk, some clients call on my office line and others call on my cell phone. If the headset had bluetooth, I could use one headset for both the computer soft-phone and my cell phone. The broadcast range is large enough I can walk around the building without loosing any quality and the signal seems to go through walls just fine. On the downside, the battery life is more limited than the Jabra Pro 9470 I had been using. However, on the upside, the battery recharges almost completely in thirty minutes.

The Best Hands Free Headset...Worth Every Penny

I have used competing brands for years and I only wish I had purchased an OfficeRunner years ago. I use it as a hands-free wireless headset for my ShoreTel phone at the office and with Dragon Naturally Speaking. It works flawlessly with both. Dragon immediately identifies the OfficeRunner, so once I connected it to my laptop and installed Dragon I was off to the races. As far as connecting it to the phone, that was even easier. One cord between the base station and the phone. The one thing that you want to remember is to select either the computer or phone icon found under the ear piece on the base station if you are using this for both dictation and as hands-free with your phone.
The headset is incredibly comfortable and I use the over the head brace which at first I thought I would find restrictive. Not true, it is comfortable and it is easy to keep the head set in place. Sound quality is excellent and I have had no complaints about being heard. Stop thinking about it and buy it...you will not be disappointed.

Good headset but Plantronics Savi 740 is better

This is a nice headset. I've used a Plantronics Savi 740 for years and gave this OfficeRunner a try. Ultimately, I returned the OfficeRunner and kept the Plantronics. The bottom line is the OfficeRunner is quite good but the Plantronics is better. Reasons in approximate order of importance:
-The Savi supports Bluetooth while the OfficeRunner does not. I often get calls to my cell phone and when I'm in the office and with the Savi I can easily hit the Bluetooth button and pop the call over to my Savi headset
-The Savi uses physical buttons to turn on/off connection to the PC, cell phone, etc.. The OfficeRunner depends on software and it doesn't always work reliably.
-The OfficeRunner has an ergonomic issue -- when using the over-the-head band (which is all I use), when the OfficeRunner is on the charging stand you have to be very careful to lift the headset straight up (as opposed to up and toward you) or the other side of the band (without the ear piece) catches on the cube stand. This is not an issue with the Savi.
-The Savi has the option to turn on "pass-through" feedback (where your own mic input plays in your ear) to the earphone, which I prefer. This makes calls, especially video conferences, seem more in-person and natural. It is also useful when I'm running around while on a call -- if I'm breathing too hard or otherwise making a lot of noise, I can hear it myself. The OfficeRunner may have this option but I didn't see it.

Perfect for the person who loves walking around as they talk

The headset system is very good, a bit expensive but has worked perfectly for exactly what I need it for.
Pro:
Very good range - i've not found the maximum range yet as i've walked out of my house and across the street and it still works for me without fading or noise.
Very clear audio - I can hear everything I need to
Everyone hears me clearly
Can be used with different kinds of headsets (comes with an over the head, and the on the ear loop)
Cons:
A bit expensive in my opinion
I wish the headset knew when it was not in use and would turn off
My previous headset was an Plantronics S series headset that was wired, while the mobility was not there, it was cheap, clear, and performed almost as good as this but it was wired, which eventually my dog ripped apart one day while jumping on me. I mentioned that it would be nice if the headset knew when it was not in use, because I was used to the previous headset mentioned, and I would just take it off. Since I forget to take the ear piece and put it on the charger, I wake up sometimes and have a dead headset.
