P-25 vs PT-85
Joe Sabarra✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 15, 2018
I ordered the 25 because I thought it would be more compact than the 85, that I already own. It is, but barely. I am keeping it, because Gamo makes quality products, and I have two sons. If you are on the fence between a 25 or 85, I recco the 85. It has a rail for accessories. PS: I live in Commiefornia. I am using my 85 as a concealed carry option, loaded with penetrator pellets. I check-fire it weekly, before I go on patrol, and it has held it's CO2 charge beautifully! Before inserting the canister, I put a square of plumber's tape over the tip, and then a drop of pel-gun oil. Cheers!
I'm almost afraid of it...

I've picked it up and held it a few times, but thus far, haven't shot it. Can't shoot BB/Pellet guns in my city. For some reason, even though they're also against the law, fireworks are excusable, but air guns are not. If I want a real gun (I DON'T) I can either conceal it, or get a CCW permit so to open carry it, but not an air gun. Laws are really screwed up around here.

Overall, though, it has a nice solid feel. Looks kind of like a few different Sig Sauer pistols (real ones, not air pistols) that I've seen pictures of online.
Wanted To Like It But It’s Terrible

Okay, I really wanted to like this pistol and gave it 5 stars at the start, but after several sessions, it's nothing but frustration. I shoot not only airguns, but also big bore center fire guns as well, so I'm a pretty good judge of quality and marksmanship.

Shooting 8 shots of JSB Exacts at 20 feet I get about a 2.0" group that's 2.5" off center at 7 o'clock with an average of 329fps on the chronograph. Out of the box it was fairly on target but got worse with use. That's about equal to my Umarex M&P 45 in velocity, but definitely not the 0.5" groups near center that it shoots. My Early 80s Daisy Power Line 717 trounces both of them with 0.25" groups at 373fps. Also since the pellets in the mag loosen up while firing I loaded one at a time so that pellet seating wouldn't affect accuracy. I can't recommend this pistol. Get the Umarex S&W M&P 45. No blowback but it's very accurate and gets about 80 to 100 on target shots and the metal magazines hold the pellets firmly vs the 48 shots of the Gamo.
Great gun! Don't listen to the negative comments

Great gun! Don't listen to the negative comments! Feels and shoots unbelievably real, very strong, has a bit of a realistic kick, and penetrates hard wood. Recommended to anyone who loves B.B. Guns.

Not impressed at all. The pellets bounce off of empty 2 liter bottles with a full co2. Sure it feels cool but forget about accuracy after the first 10 or so shots when the co2 starts emptying. Had high reviews but didn't live up to the hype. Returning
