Why the complaints> It works perfectly. Hook to the outside hose, turn on the hose to fill, when it starts filling open the end to pull the water out of the bed. After about 1 minute, turn off the hose, unhook the outside hose and it will drain on it's own by gravity. Took about an hour for a queen size to drain. Thanks
Faucet adapter pops off if there is a kink in the hose.
Wizard2468•March 29, 2017
Great except the part that threads into the kitchen faucet. It popped off a couple of times when the hose got a kink in it and I was afraid it was going to get the threads stripped. Before I use it again I will probably go to the hardware store and get the same adapter in metal. The fill or drain part is a well designed part, never had one that drained like this one does. Have not used that part yet, but looks like it will be much easier than siphoning the water out the window.
Wished I had found it?

Never did get to use it. My old mattress broke, I repaired it and ordered a new mattress, liner and refill kit from Amz. But the old mattress held on for months. When it did fail again. It was in the middle of the night. Wet n groggy, I used my old drain to drain / fill my new mattress. Since I opened the big boxes first, I only found the kit when looking for the water conditioning solution. The kit looks great, the conditioner worked fine 3 mos later. It should be years before I use this kit unless I move. But now I have a complete kit in a place I can find it, right away.
barely functional ...
shoppers critique•November 11, 2016
One would think after thirty years, they would make the connector actually fit the threads on a faucet.. i had misplaced my old kit so tried the new one.. functional ONLY rigging it with rubberband to stay on faucet and leaks horribly because NO threads match up. Finally got the job done but took all day to drain and refill..the only threads that worked were the garden hose.. thus three stars.. not very good product.. sorry
The connections are off on measurement and this is very cheap plastic.

This is junk and not even good for one time use. Leaks everywhere spraying a water mess. Don't try connection inside to the sink. First the white faucet adapter is first thing to strip. First time trying to just finger tighten it it stripped. I ordered another faucet to sink adapter for 5$ made from a metal material instead of this cheap plastic junk. Save your money or spend a few bucks more. I also ended up having to replace the Pump because it stripped out very fast and is made 1mm too big in diameters. The connections are off and this item is made to wrong specifications and very cheap plastic. This plastic is Very VERY cheap. Not even good for the one time use honestly. Do not expect to be able to tighten it. Expect water to spray and or leak everywhere upon use. I replaced this cheap plastic water bed pump with one called "Python" pump. It is made for the aquarium or pond water changes. It is much better for what I needed. I paid to keep this item and did not return it because i used the end connection to bed and the O rings or I would of sent it back. Spend a little more for that python one if you want something that can be used without spilling or leaking everywhere. I did a lot of research on the best one to buy after I got this cheap crap that was cut wrong size and too big. I wanted an item with at least one good use and this is NOT it. Preferably an item with multiple uses, something that doesn't break when you turn it or try to tighten it. Do yourself a favor and research a better product or buy this crap and be ready to duct tape it to your sink and buy some splash guards while your at it and some 5 gallon bucks of water to catch all the leaks....
