I purchased this item based on the picture shown. Besides the 2 phone pockets, the picture (and item description) suggests there are three zippered compartments ( and a small one at the front). It was very disappointing to note that the product I received had only two zippered compartments. I trashed it within minutes of receiving it. I believe the seller has cheated me.
Note: before trashing the item, I used a white rag to rub it.... Sure enough, as indicated by several other reviewers, the black color rubbed off on the white rag - so do be cautious on wearing this on light colored clothing.

I purchased this pack to carry my new Nikon camera and everything worked well for about three months until I was at the beach, strolling through the edge of the surf, and I bent over to pick up a seashell, and the pack fell off and went into the saltwater for about 3 seconds with my camera. The bag is not water-proof and my camera was ruined. The buckle is not secure and needs some sort of secondary safety latch. Otherwise, the pack is fine and made well. It just needs a better buckle.

It's REALLLY large! Leather is a bit on the thin side but the compartments seem to be lined. It does look well made so far. No zipper problems but I've only used it twice. The belt at it's smallest is about 34" which is a few inches too wide for me. The "main" compartment is 6"h x 12"w with a 4" x 7" inside zipper compartment and a couple of credit cards or identification slots. The "front" compartment is 5"h x 6"w with a key ring for your keys. The "side" so called "cell phone" pouches are 4"h x 3"w; too small for a new type smart phone. The "back" compartment is 5 1/2"h x 12"w. If you're a little skinny person the bag will look very big and will probably hang low.

I work for a food industry coorporation that does not allow any personal belongings to be brought in (weird, huh?). Car keys and wallets are to be checked in and out of the office which is unattended 90% of the time. I do not like being without my ID, chapstick, money, keys and medication. I purchased this to wear under my clothes. I did not realize that it is large, as in tool belt size. Everyone thinks I'm fat and I feel a little like a drug smuggler but that's okay; it's comforting to have the things I need to get through a 12 hour day. I would give it 5 stars but the strap gets loose causing the pack to slide down once or twice a day at which time I dash into the cooler to adjust it. This may be caused by my running around the kitchen and stock room like a mad woman and probably shouldn't be considered average use. The leather is soft and comfortable against my skin, even in the 100*+ temperatures around the grills and ovens.
