You'll regret buying this after a while.

It seemed like a good idea at first, but you'll find that over time the way this item tightly wraps your extension cord causes internal twisting of the wires. Eventually you'll be dealing with frustrating twists, knots and braids. Plus, wrapping you cord back up in this is kind of a pain. if you have a heavy or long cord your arms will tire pretty fast. Now I've wasted my money on this and have a twisted up cord. Thanks a lot cord-pro!
Does NOT hold 100' of 10-3.

I've tried three times to wrap 100' of 10-3 in this thing and there's no way. As other's have stated, it only holds ~80'. Very frustrating that I have ~20' of cord protruding from its "organizer." The only way this will hold 100' of 10-3 is if it's wound perfectly by a robot. I loathe when a company advertises the "perfect world" specifications of a product that will never be achievable by the end user in the field, it's false advertising plain and simple.
Genius!

This is genius! I have 100 feet of 12 gauge extension cord in this and it unwinds itself just as easily as in their video. The instructions say to wind the cord, but I turn the cordpro instead to avoid twisting the cord. There is a smaller version for shorter or thinner cords. I use this for an electric chainsaw.
Holds cable very neatly and compactly, unreels easily, but can be hard to reel back in with heavy cable
horack•May 22, 2017
This does work great to keep 150 feet of 12/3 cable coiled compactly and neatly. It does unroll easily. The cons would be that coiling the cable back can be difficult due to the weight of the cable and the housing becoming awkward to handle. Speaking of handle, the one on this is a bit thin and not comfortable to hold when you have the whole cable weight on it. The only other con is that it's kinda pricey for what it is, but it definitely does the job. The cable fits in more neatly and much more compact on this device than you could get on a traditional crank cable reel, but it takes a lot more effort to get it back in.
Shrinks space for cords
Goof Ball•May 3, 2017
This device is nice to shrink the space for cords. Be prepared to put a label on it somewhere or it's easy to forget what you've got inside. 12 gauge? 14? 100'? 50'? Labels help a lot.
Only part I didn't like is the handle. When running the cord through and winding up, the handle was a little too sharp feeling for the black parts. I do a lot with my hands. I would like something more gentle on my hands. It's not sharp enough to slice and make wounds. But it's enough to make me want something smoother and less sharp-like. It's hard to describe. I guess it will take more practice to wind / unwind without my hand rubbing on the black pieces and feeling discomfort.
Handy gizmo. Would like a gentler handle for my hands.
