Got these for my Dad for X-mas, as he is a total book addict. I was surprised at the high quality of them, especially for the price!! He was thrilled!! They are pretty heavy, and the palms of the hands even had lines in them like a human one. He put all of his favorite books of all time between them, and they look just awesome!!! Very happy, as he is almost impossible to shop for. Highly recommended for any book lover!!

These bookends are a great look for my cubicle; however, I notice that the more books I place in between them, the more one of the ends begins to slide. I have had to reinforce the bottom with some non-stick tape so that the weight of the books doesn't push the hands further apart.

Really awesome. The bad thing is they are so heavy... if you make a purchase from outside of USA (the caribbean in my case), will be cost a lot to get this item. Think about it before to do it. If you don't have a problem with a extra pounds charges, is ok then.

Funky way to hold pens on desk at work. I also bought white stapler, tape dispenser, calculator, etc. The magnetic part not the strongest, but I keep mine just like the pic with one yellow note and paper clips. I wasn't sure I should keep this only because I was in an accident and needed hand surgery like a couple weeks after purchasing it, lol, but I showed a pic to my surgeon and he chuckled. I liked this way better than the hand bookends. The details of the skin lines and nails, etc. more realistic.
