for the money its not bad but the stool definitely wobbles and isn't super comfortable. if it didn't wobble it would be much better but I find, several times a day, I have to tighten the seat (under the stool). That provides a temporary fix but is a royal pain when working on my computer or practicing music

THis is really sturdy, a great throne for the price. It does take a little effort to adjust the height, as there are holes in the stem for height settings, so you have to take the nut/bolt out and put it in a different hole, but not a big deal for me.
