I bought this in the days after we lost our 13 year-old mini Yorkie, Olive. I am amazed at how much it helped us move through grief, having this little likeness "sleeping" and "breathing" in her little bed under the desk. The mind is a curious thing. It's not a snuggly toy. If a child wanted to play with it, it would probably be a disappointing toy simply because it is more aesthetic than functional. But for our purposes and enjoyment, it is absolutely perfect! Excellent battery life as well. The side rises and falls like gentle breathing. It isn't designed to be turned on and off. They recommend just letting it stay on and breathing because that's what it's designed to do. Even our other dogs believe it is Olive (after we let them sniff a lock of her hair we saved and keep with it). Morbid, maybe. But I wish I'd had one for other pets I've grieved. 🥺â¤ï¸
