I was surprised that the Crocs had arch support. I saw that they were made in Vietnam. I am hoping that the sole of the Crocs shoes wears better than the Chinese made shoes they replace.

The Chinese Levi Strauss shoes had no arch support. The sole of the shoes appeared robust but the wrap around plastic was only 1-1.5 mm thick. The sole cracked, after only a year along the lines of the decorative pattern on the bottom of the sole with pieces falling out. I discovered the condition of the sole when my feet got wet. Some very light weight foam gave the appearance of a thick sole.

Picked up two Santa Cruz for $31.xx each on Amazon. Super great deal. These are like walking on air when new. Love them with bare feet.

I have an older used pair that is well worn, probably 3 years old and the sole is well worn but the insole is still perfect and the canvas shoe is still perfect, though it's lost most of its color. I mow the lawn in them, wear them to water parks, do yard work in them, even left them outside all winter thinking they were done, yet they still are strong and I will use them as my yard work shoe again this summer. Amazing quality.

My husband is picky and quite the complainer but when I bought these I couldn't get him to wear anything else for the summer. We are now on our second pair he loved them so much. He is 6'3 a medium build and needs a lot of support in his shoe. These shoes cover that. They are comfy and look nice with his khaki cargos. When he wasn't wearing his sneakers these were the shoe he would wear and they lasted too. He just bought another pair that he wears this summer and around the house as a comfortable lounge shoe. Its great they are comfortable and even better that they are also nice enough he can wear them out too. I am just shocked at how such a picky man can be sooo happy with a shoe. I don't think he will ever buy another summer/lounge shoe after these. Maybe I need a pair too for women lol.

another great pair of crocs, like all of them they each one's fit a little different because of where their made. the last few pairs fit a little snug but loosen up a little bit as you wear them with age, but they still fit great as I wear a size 14 and they fit better than other types of crocs in that size. it's because there alittle more wide than others but there always great for being cool on your feet and comfortable since your walking on a big chunk of plastic. the color is true to being a dark blue as with some they aren't are true to the pictures but this pair is goes great with jeans, just wish they would put more colors in the size 14 like they do in the size 13's and down.

These are Croc's answer to Sanuk. I like them and find them great as casual scuffs. I use them like sandals when driving to go hiking or biking and I want some extra shoes that are fast to put on and take off. Very casual, probably shouldn't wear these anywhere that you wouldn't wear sandals. They are not very secure on the foot so you can't really hike or run in them, but for walking around all day in a pinch they are fine. The fabric uppers helps keep sweat and stink to a minimum. They can be worn with or without socks without looking like a big dork.
