I bought this after having shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff. I wish I had bought this sooner because it was definitely more comfortable than the one they gave me. It's a softer cotton material, comfortable around my neck, and easily adjustable.

The sling comes with a lot of straps and removable parts which is good and bad. Good because you can customize it, bad because it's hard to figure out how to use it. There are no instructions anywhere! Not online, not on the manufacturer's website, and nowhere in the packaging. The stabilizing pillow that it comes with is super comfortable however, the sling is not breathable. My arm fell asleep many times because of the design of the sling. I ended up returning and using the flimsy one the hospital gave me.

Excellent product. Ordered after my buddy's rotator cuff surgery. It took a little while to figure out how to set up (comfortably). I'll submit a pic shortly on my review to show how we set it up. 2 separate straps (one around waist and on around and under armpit) then one over shoulder.

Worked very well preoperative. Postoperative, the movement of the arm away from the body it not very comfortable. The you tube search on setting it up for wear as suggested by a previous owner was very helpful as the included instruction from the manufacturer are nonexistent.
