They don’t fit the way my old pads did

My brace is 5 years old, when I went to wash the pads, they disintegrated, no joke, a few pieces of cloth was it. So I found these and ordered them. They work fine, they protect my face which is the purpose, they just look off on the older collar. Still, better than buying all new setup.

My neck is totally fused plus I suffer from spinal stenosis. I have issues with pain, weakness, and fatigue. I would often seek relief by wearing the standard issue c-collar provided when I had surgery. When it became necessary to replace it I chose a Miami J. It was a wise decision. I feel completely immobilized in this collar. The neck angle is perfect. It is easy to 'cheat' in a standard collar, not so with a Miami J, you are locked in position. Comfort on the jaw and chest area is greatly improved with this collar. I can wear the Miami J comfortably much longer than the standard. I find it to be well worth the money, certainly so if you are in a similar situation as myself. My review is for the standard sized Miami J.

I've gone thru loads of neck braces for a fragile, previously broken neck. Light, bendy ones are best for in the car, says the Spine Doc, to allow whole neck absorption of potential shock. This one is best at home, when my necks needs supported rest. The support is excellent and it lets my neck rest while in proper alignment. Excellent support brace, plus great quality and price.
