I only purchased Scott 1000 for years with our family of seven it kept us from midnight runs to the corner store and from the clogged toilets we experienced with Charmin! We needed to tighten the budget so we tried Georgia Pacific when it was on sale and it was satisfactory, individually wrapped long lasting rolls, clog-free toilets,etc. Although we were ready to try something new after 3 months, so we liked the price of this Kimberly Clark Scott 2 ply, liked that it had more of a texture than the Georgia Pacific and of course the long lasting individually wrapped rolls. Our one caveat would be the "Certified Econo Lodge Toilet Tissue" logo on the side which may cause your guests to assume you are stealing your t.p. from the local 2 star motel. I had an older lady say to me, "Did you get your toilet tissue from..." and I quipped, "Amazon, yes, I buy all my toiletries in bulk."

Great Scott! It's toilet paper! You can use it to T.P. the neighbor's house, trees, pets, or car. As an inexpensive mummy costume for Halloween, a risque prom or evening dress, a boxer short stuffer, very cheap and flimsy paper mache, a super cheap ruler, a very, very, very poor man's coffee filter, a non-waterproof door or window screen, make a really quick bunch of flowers (you'll probably also need q-tips or floss, or both) when your wife asks if you bought her anything for her birthday/wedding anniversary and you forgot, a cheap alternative for a fire starter while camping or being on the show 'Naked and Afraid,' or to write down a really stupid list of the many things you can use toilet paper for.

Or if you're a regular person, use it to clean number 1 and number 2 from your nether region.

I remember when Scott was the premium paper for the bathroom....
Quality paper, 1000 sheets, standard size, and long lasting....
This? This paper is lousy, far too thin, far too small, and last nothing like it used to....
I am done.... I won't be buying this again.... fortunately, it was only a 20 roll order....

This paper is what you should expect for the price, which was fine with me, until it started to clog the drains in our 1963 house. I did a dissolve test of 6 different toilet papers--none of them super luxurious. Five of them had started to break down within three minutes. This paper was still fully intact after 24 hours.

I can not say how much I dislike this TP w/o being tempted to use curse words. I will never buy it again & recommend to anyone tempted to purchase it to save money to spend a little more & get something better. My wife hates it more than I do & never lets me forget that I purchased it. She won't use it anymore so it has lasted twice as long for me. You waste a bunch of it just trying to get a new role started & on every other role it seems the two plys are out of sync & tear off at very different places. I was in the U.S. Army back in the day & what passed for TP there was awful but better than this stuff.

I don't do a ton of reviews these days but normally when I take the time to review a product, it is a positive review of something I recommend. But after all the frustration I've had with this product, I just felt compelled to let the next poor sap like me know there are probably better ways to save money. I don't know how Scott got so many positive reviews on this stuff but am guessing it was forcing a lot of their own employees to submit + reviews.
