When used with chicken, it tasted like the real thing, as per satay found in Singapore. The peanut sauce is also like what you find in Singapore. I tried using the marinate with lamb and it did not go well - lacks flavor.

Authentic Satay taste and the gravy is great. I use this for making beef satay using eye of round for tender juicy grilling. Easy preparation and I let the meat marinade for five days to get that flavor into every bite. Add Ketupat/Lontong, Sliced Cucumber and Onions and you have a great meal.

Prima Taste Satay Sauce is, in my opinion, the best marinade around for someone who does not want to spend time rounding up lemongrass, turmeric, galangal and peeling 20 some shallots and pounding the whole lot into a cohesive paste. The flavor is authentic (I'm Singaporean). The satay sauce is great. I have ordered this before and I know what I am getting. However, I knocked off two stars because my packets arrived with just two weeks to spare before the expiry dates. That's not a lot of time is it? I probably would not order from the same seller (BLINQ) again. The last time I ordered this same four pack sauce kit, the expiry date was a whole year out.

Truly remind me the Singaporean Satay I ate from the street and restaurant. I just love it.
