These are the best steps you can buy. They are not for the novice installer. But if your above average with working on vehicles should be no problem. Took about 4 to 5 hours to install due to having to take the door panels off. And I would recommend using butt connectors vs. the connectors that come with the steps

This is money well spent. My buddy has had these on his truck for awhile and I've been wanting to get a set since seeing his. The directions are pretty straightforward and there are only a couple of spots that could use tweaking, but it thorough pretty well written. I give this company credit for continually upgrading their products. The motor has changed positions, has a 2 sec delay, and they now include the LED lights as part of the package. A lot of work went into this product and this can be told from the wire loom. They don't just ship out a whole mess of wires and expect you to make them work. Everything is cut to length, color coded to match the factory wires, and even put in a wire loom to make it nice and neat. Take your time and if you ever had the door panels or kick panels off your truck then this should be fairly easy. It is time consuming though. It took me around 4-5 hrs, but worked as soon as I put the fuse in!!!!

I should have purchased these 2 years ago! My 10 year old son and I installed these start to finish in 3.5 hours without any breaks. We got lucky and did not have to remove the door panels on our 2010 Silverado, which saved us probably 2 hours. I would suggest watching a couple videos online and read the instructions before you dig into the installation.
Customer support on the phone was top notch. I made two calls- one for installation question, one for a defective light, - and both were handled professionally, promptly and --in English! Great product, made in USA. They are a big hit with the whole family. My wife had a hard time getting in because of a 2" level kit but no problems now!
Wire looms made sense and were the correct length for both driver and passenger side.
UPDATE: almost two years later these things still rock. They still look good and perform flawlessly.
