So far, the valve has held a 20' head nicely throughout the first week of testing in fresh clean lake water. Will update if see any issues.
Has not held prime very well when water gets low ...

Has not held prime very well when water gets low (~5 ft. head). Since my well is only a sand point It dries up by mid summer. I do get value about of the foot valve as long as there is over 5 feet head water above it. I am only pulling water about 12' to run through sprinkler and irrigation systems.
