Good buy

This is a good workbench. I got the particleboard top, and it is thick, heavy and solid. I feel confident in putting heavy things on the workbench without it collapsing, despite the particleboard top. The stability is in part because of a metal stabilizer bar mounted to the underside of the tabletop.
The only drawback is that because the stabilizer bar runs nearly the full width of the tabletop, mounting a drawer underneath the tabletop is difficult or impossible.

Better than what you'd get at the big box stores.

Good workbench for the price. The instructions are poorly written but with a little concentration and thought you can figure them out. That's the only reason why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, the product itself is good quality, heavy gauge steel for the legs and brace make this table strong and solid. Looks good too. I elected to get the pressed board top. The butcher block was expensive and the steel wasn't what I wanted so the pressed board was a good compromise. Heavy and durable. I bought two of these benches for my garage workshop and adjusted them to 36" counter height. They're exactly what I needed and the price was reasonable.

My wife does her cutting and sewing on this bench. She loves it! We have a bar stool that is the perfect height for her to work with and I'll often come home from work to see her working on some sort of craft on this bench. It's not the kind of depth I'd personally prefer in a work bench but for the craft room we have it fits perfectly along our far wall and provides the work space we need. If I had a garage I could see myself getting another one to use for some heavier duty projects.

This benchwork is nice the tap part is chip but the frame is strong, I feel is you want to put a stronger top is cheaper then buying the brand name ones. And I shipped was fast from the time I place my order, that's good, thank amazon for taking care of your customers.
Good light to medium duty workbench

For the quality and price, not a bad deal. As other reviewers mentioned, the particle board work surface is unfinished and needs to be sealed or painted otherwise it will stain and absorb any liquids spilled on it. Also the particle board top could easily be cracked or chipped from heavy use. I am planning on putting a stainless steel sheet on top of the work surface to make it more durable. But for the price, you won't find a better shop table.
