Too much water left on fabric....puddles!

I really wanted to love this iron, I love all of the features... the extra long cord, the green when it's ready, the red when it's not. But I was surprised at how badly the soleplate reacts to my fabric. I've never had an iron be soooo annoying to use; it doesn't glide, not at all, and it got hung up on my seams instead of gliding over them. But, the most annoying of all of my complaints, the deal breaker, is the lack of heat, and the extreme amount of water left over on the fabric when pressing. I can't believe they designed the iron to do this, mine must be faulty I thought. But when I read other reviews I am saddened to learn that this is just how it works....right out of the box.... so back into the box it is going, and I'm keeping my Rowenta that I don't love because it weighs a ton, but otherwise is a joy to use. I'll be watching to see if Oliso gets it figured out, or if they charge way more than seems necessary to make up for all of the returns I'm sure they get.

I had one of these irons for around 6 years and must have worn it out. Pebble P.
I love this iron

I love this iron! It has cut my ironing in half. One pass is usually all it takes. The burst of steam is perfect for stubborn wrinkles. My only complaint is that it is hard to empty the water out of it when I am done. It never empties completely.
Love it

Great for sewing!

This is a great iron for home sewers. A commercial quality gravity feed iron is not right for me because I don't have room to keep my ironing board near my sewing machine and there's a real risk I'll leave the iron on.
There's plenty of steam. The sole plate has few holes, so you don't get so many dead spots when fusing interfacing, and the 30 minute auto shutoff is just right. Iron heats up really quickly, too. This iron is a good example of careful design.
