Yesterday I was walking to my car when I see this man parking his car in front of mine, you know the type ,the one that parks by Feel not by sight . He bump on to my car and by the second hit I slammed my hand on his trunk letting him know , That's my car ! . I checked my car looking to see if there was any damage and thanks to the BumpShox my car was fine . It performed beautifully , I love it and strongly recommended 5 starts

Beware of cars with front parking cameras

WILL NOT work on 2017 BMW 540...it obscures or boogers the front parking camera(s)/sensors.
Even if you trim off the top flap that supposedly protect the top of the bumper.
I put it on my wife's 2015 Audi A5 without front parking camera/sensor and it worked ok.

This item definitely works. I have seen people backing into my own car and this has saved my front bumper countless times. Gives the front of the car a bulkier look but who cares when you live in NYC and you want to preserve your car and pocket! This used in combination with a bumper guard is a relatively cheap investment for the protection you get. Satisfied with item.
