Works great
Steve B•September 21, 2017
So easy to remove and replace, and a good way to extend the life of a good pump with a bad connector. I use it on my air compressor.
The right tool for the job. Works on a non-Park pump!

Used to repair an Ascent floor pump a few months ago. Typical results from Park Tool, as expected: works well, well made, easy to install. Didn't need the o-ring, just the head. Excellent value. I recommend Amazon and Park specify and publish a hose diameter fit range to help potential buyers in the future.
Is that good or bad

Counting the head that came with the pump, this makes the third one I've owned. I would have expected that only one replacement unit would suffice for the life of the pump. I use the pump frequently and the pump head lasts about three years on average. Is that good or bad? Who knows but it is way less expensive that investing in another pump. As they say, the devil you know...
Did indeed work to replace the head on my Joe ...

Did indeed work to replace the head on my Joe Blow and I have a functional pump again. Would give five stars, but the clamp/release lever is very hard to manipulate both in attaching and removing from the valve stem (Presta). You have to be very careful not to bend the valve head. Haven't tried it with a Schraeder valve, but appears to me would be similarly difficult.
Great value and works perfectly

I really really wanted to buy a replacement pump to replace my aging Ascent brand pump, which has given me years of service, which had started to not seal properly for presta valve stems. Unfortunately for my plans, I saw this replacement, and at $6.99, I figured I would give this a shot, even though it is branded Park.
The Park head looks identical to the head on my Ascent pump, close enough that I would expect it is from the same manufacturer. I have used the replacement for both presta and schrader valves for a while with no problems and no leakage, even with my 120psi road tires.
I would strongly recommend this to revive an older pump. I have always liked Park tools and this meets my expectation of quality.
I still want a new pump...just because :)
