See's candies are something we ALWAYS know w/b a lovely gift. If I were skinny and had an endless budget, I'd always have a box at-the-ready!
I sent these to my sister, and I had two concerns: #1 There was no indication of who sent them, and #2 Shipping costs were higher than reasonable. The candies are not inexpensive, so to pay such a high shipping cost was a disappointment. The five stars are for the candy, alone... not for the rest of the expense. It's true that it was "my choice" to place the order, but I'll do it differently next time.

this was a special purchase for mother's day. I picked "see's candies" because of reputation. these truffles had an "off smell" like ketoacidosis
(too chemically fruitty). the flavors were really strange - grape lemon and the brown stuff was indeterminable all enrobed in a waxy tasteless chocolate (?) coating. Just awful ---- the recipient shared my same impressions. NOT WORTH $35 OR EVEN $3!!! i will never purchase a see's candy product again. the package arrived well cushioned in a big box with the rest of my order, but the gold presentation box looked "shopworn". a thoroughly disappointing experience. caveat emptor

Pros: arrived early, clearly fresh, as pictured
Cons: as pictured, there are three basic types- I guess I thought inside would be a wider assortment- literally a third of these were exactly the same (luckily my husband loves hazelnut). A few are left, but so far no caramel or coconut. Also, and this goes to my first "con" no labels or chart telling you what is in each one. Finally, why they would do blueberry (less common) but not caramel (many people's favorite) is a mystery. If these had been for me (not into hazelnuts so much) in other words, I would have given it 3 stars.
