My 21m old is obsessed with buckles, and this seemed like something that might distract her from spending 10mins trying to buckle her own car seat. It worked! She has trouble with the regular buckles, but does the circle type ones really well. She can't undo them either. So she gets frustrated sometimes but I think she will figure it out.
My 4 year old has even played with it a bit on a car trip.
Definitely a good choice if your toddler is obsessed with buckles.

My 18 month old grandcutie LOVES this! It is smaller than I expected...but that made me like it even more. It is the perfect size to take on car trips or pack in diaper bag. She loves to point to the eyes, nose, and mouth. On the back are cute shapes numbers and colors. Perfect in waiting rooms, church, etc. anytime you need a quiet activity!

My daughter (13 months) LOVES all kinds of buckles and straps - high chair, car seat, stroller, etc! So I ordered this for her and hoped she would love it and she does! She LOVES it! It kept her occupied on a long trip out of town and she is always playing with the straps and buckles. Now we just look at the colors and count but later she will be able to work the buckles on her own. Great LEARNING toy! Would be a great gift for a 1 year old birthday or even older!

My son who is 20 months old absolutely loves his buster! He sat and played with it for over 20 minutes straight. No other toy keeps him as engaged like that. He loves the various types of buckles and the zipper as well. I'm not sure how many other types of buckles there are, but it'd be neat if there were a bit more variety for more challenging skills and he accomplishes the more basic ones. It's a great toy for plane rides and in the car. Helps him practice his fine motor skills and concentration. Love it! I'll be looking at the other products to see what else he'd like!

My favorite part of the Buckle Toy is that it has the zippered pouch which can be used to put in weighted materials to turn this into a "heavy work" pillow! The buckles have different designs which allow the kids to practice different ways of latching and unlatching buckles. The straps allow children to "match" colors or get zany and use different colors.
My only complaint is that I ordered the green pillow and instead I received the orange pillow. :(
