Good idea poorly engineered

Will not take a four x four post without significant post modification. Good idea poorly engineered.
Wish I had tried this item first.

Mailboss makes great products in the PRC.
Waste of money for a real metal mounted mailbox

The post does not support a metal post, only wood to wood. I had to fill mine with concrete and rebar to make it metal to metal work. Waste of money for a real metal mounted mailbox.

This is well made and should last a long time.
