Great value

This cab is a no brainer if your looking for a light weight ported 2x12 unloaded that's made out of Birch plywood and not the ultra heavy particle board under $200....I think if this cab been labeled by either one of the M's the price would be more but it's not so that's good for the budget.
These are USA made cabs and well made to boot using 100% 7ply Birch....Removable front grill allows speakers to be either front loaded or rear loaded options and mine also included all hardware to mount speakers.
I used an EVH speaker with a G12H rear loaded and it sounds amazing....Nothing can compare to this type of quality in this rice range.

I bought this exact cabinet from another site about a month ago and finally put some speakers in it a few days ago. It sounds GREAT. The speakers I installed came from a 12 year old Marshall 1960BX cabinet (Celestion 25w Greenbacks), being powered through a Peavey Classic 50 head (a really solid 50w amp from the early 1990s). Wiring in the cab came preset parallel and mounting screws are included (I've read reviews that say they aren't included, but mine came in a little baggie in the box). All you need is a screwdriver. The speakers are 16 ohms, so wired parallel I'm running my amp at 8 ohms.
I was hesitant at first because of the price and some older reviews, but for the price this thing is worth it. My only complaint is the tweed baffling. It could be stretched tighter but it looks fine and it's only noticeable if touched. Other than that the cabinet is constructed well. The bass response from the slightly larger size is big and due to the closed back is also very tight. For less than $200 and free shipping, this is a good buy.
I play mainly overdriven/chunky tones and this cab/amp combination suits my style very well. I might buy another one of these to put my other 2 greenbacks in but with an open back panel for a brighter, roomier sound for cleaner-toned gigs. I've been playing for about 20 years and am active in my music community. Tonight I covered the Seismic logo with tape because from what I've read their speakers are garbage and I don't want anyone to judge based on that. No one will know what this tone monster is and I can't wait to talk to my music buddies and gear heads after my next show to see what they think about my new mystery cabinet!
Hope this helps. I don't normally review things but because I was hesitant at first I wanted to ease y'all's minds if you are interested in this great deal. Cheers!
