i'm building my own shower riser & rectangular shower rod over a clawfoot. i bought 4 of these for the 1/2" NPT pipes for the rod. i personally, i like the Pasco elbow better. it's a couple of bucks more but they seem to screw on deeper. since no water will run through they might be okay for my application. we'll see.
also these say "titanium" on the side. they're chrome plated brass. i don't think they have any titanium so not sure why it says that.
