Nice product

Will updated to adjust review once installed. I have the 10" version of this model.
This is a misunderstood product for junk otherwise great product.
Most faucet of this kind DO NOT equip with a local, spring loaded check valve of little to no forward water pressure loss like this product.
Confusion #1 :
Incoming inspection looking at its inlet, we notice the first one CCW turn from a closed state that rubber valve seat remain closed .. due to check valve spring. Reviewers not educated about that complained it does not turn on until the second turn up. That is untrue. Test with a soda straw I can push valve seat open by 1/4-lb force or so, unless valve seat is badly jammed (more on jamming, read on).
Note :
Some State building code requires home based outdoor faucet to equipped with a local check valve. That any reverse pressure higher than source pressure will not inject-contaminate our home water network, accidentally or intentionally (tempering?)
To further protect our home water network it is recommended to add a faucet locking device to our outdoor faucet .. particularly to like faucet without a check valve.
Confusion #2 :
All side wall outdoor faucet not equip with anti siphon device will instantly shut down water flow in our garden hose (far end) at the instance valve seat is forced into a closing state. That is untrue for anti siphon models. Anti siphon allows water flow to continue for a minute or so in our (25 ~ 75 ft) garden hose, a kind of free flow confused by some for valve seat not set tight enough, spontaneously or rather anxiously, over corrected that anti siphon flow, and in such process forced that poor rubber valve seat beyond and into the valve orifice.
Follow that we'd expect two abnormal operations..
(1) no flow until the second CCW turn (remember that check valve?) assisted pulling that jammed rubber valve seat out of the orifice to free water flow.
(2) jamming was so bad it cannot be set free anymore, anxiouly we continue CCW beyond first and second turn end up ripped off that check valve permanently. And that is where / how this product received a special title "junk".
If we given up seeking for the cause to any effect before blame / appreciation is released, those effects will likely repeat on us.

However I would like a credit for the original purchase so I can ...

This is the second faucet you have sent me. The first one leaked right away and you replaced it quickly at no charge. Now after less than a year this faucet is also leaking! No quality control or very cheap parts or both. I have no idea if I can get replacement gaskets for this faucet and am afraid to ask Homewerks for them because they will be the same quality. However I would like a credit for the original purchase so I can order one that works somewhere else. I am out 2hrs. time already and now I will be out several more. Not good quality.
I don't know if it was from poor milling or what

I have purchased 5 of these. 3 to replace existing sillcocks 1 to put in add new one and one to replace the inner workings of one that failed. the handles on all but two were bent, I don't know if it was from poor milling or what, one lost its ability to shut off completely and I replaced the innards and now it is doing the same thing again . I could not recommend these you should pay more and get a better brand .
Pretty terrible

I purchased this in September 2014 and had it installed a few weeks later. It was used for about a month before winter set in. With average use the next year, it was leaking by mid-summer 2015. The leak got progressively worse, and even with tightening the packing nut, it still leaks. I just turned the outside faucets back on for 2016... the handle is rusting badly, and the center screw holding on the handle is completely rusted and almost crumbling at this point. I doubt it will last much longer, in fact I don't trust it enough to keep the water line on. This is really a pretty terrible product; I wish there was an option to rate it zero stars.
A good item and very good customer support.

I purchased about a dozen of these Homewerks frost free sillcocks a couple years ago. Most of them have worked fine, but a few did develop leaks at the handle. Fortunately they are easy to disassemble and fix. They come with lifetime warranty, so a couple weeks ago I decided it was time to try out their customer support.
I emailed customer support with my problem and a few pictures. They got back to me within a day. I told them what parts I needed and they shipped out the replacement parts free of charge. Within about a week of contacting the company, I had received all the necessary parts. With another 20 minutes of work on my part, I had all the sillcocks back up and running perfect.
