Works as designed 80% of the time..sometimes does not drop when motor spins. Increased air gap to just under 1/4" but spin plate still fails to drop 100% of the time. Might be a flaw in the linkage.

Comes with no instructions. the hole in the bottom of the eliminator is way to big to fit the Moultrie feeder motor, or the Wild Game feeder. There is on way to tighten up the set screw. Also you will half to manufacture some longer braces for the 55 gallon Wild Game feeder as the Eliminator is to tall to fit what is there.
Buy it already. You will be glad you did.

I have owned a lot of different feeder control units and spinner plates. Raccoons, squirrels have always been my nemesis. The only option has always been to build a bullet proof cage around the control unit to keep them out. The cage just gives them something to hang on and 90% of the corn bounces off the cage and ends up falling straight down under the feeder. This spinner plate saves corn and eliminates the need for a cage. It throws corn for 30' in all directions. It should pay for itself many times over.
Note that this plate requires a 1/4" shaft high torque 12v motor and good battery to operate. It takes high RPM to create enough centrifugal force to push out on the chain links and lower the plate. A 6 v motor or a small 1/8" shaft 12v motor doesn't have enough power.
