Haven't installed it yet but I'm sure it works as great as the round one which I am very happy with.
Works great and will save you money

Works great and will save you money. Keeps the wind from spinning the corn out, keeps black birds and blue birds from getting to the feed and best of all the coons can't empty my feeders. I installed this on evry feeder I have and so has my hunting buddies.
No more racoons

Great product, shipped quickly.

Exactly what I expected when I ordered it. I ordered one to replace a failed older model unit on an All-Seasons deer feeder. The new plate had a different diameter shaft than the old one, so I improvised temporarily by fashioning short shaft out of a bolt. The old one actually joined the motor shaft via an in-line coupling, and I think that if I remove the coupler, I'll be able to attach the new plate directly to the motor shaft - I just didn't have time to do that yet.
I've had a couple of these types of plates - one on a stationary feeder and one on a tailgate feeder - and they are great. They keep birds and raccoons from eating up all the feed before it has a chance to reach the ground. Even when the feeder is empty, they help - they keep wasps from making their home inside the feeder bucket.
