I always use Dark and Lovely Same Day Relax and Color hair coloring, because it's the only product that I've used that does not break my hair out. I usually wait until 5-7 days after I relax my hair to color it just because. It darkens my grays perfectly.

I think they changed the formula for this. I almost sent this back because the box I usually get says same day relax and color. This box does not say that. I had to read the description to find out if I can use this the same day I relax my hair. After rinsing, I noticed my hair was still brown in the sunlight. It worked on my gray strings but not much of a huge difference for the rest of my hair. I think I'll have to find another brand.
