Just received this and assembled yesterday. The general appearance of the shelves looks nice enough, though the top and bottom portions are only affixed together by a set of small plates that screw into each part. Would have preferred this be sturdier.

My main issue is two-fold. 1. I didn't receive all the parts necessary to complete assembly. I was missing some screws to affix the final shelf, so that is currently unusable. I'm looking at options to resolve this. The second issue is, after assembly, the shelves don't sit flat on the ground, there's approximately a 1/4" gap on one of the legs. I've had to insert pads to get it to stand approximately flat. I'm sure, eventually, as objects are placed on it, the shelves will settle into a more stable shape, but I recommend you spend a bit more and get a better product. Would not recommend.

Great shelf ladder. This is perfect if you just need something not too flashy in a smaller room. I have a decent size wall in my living room which has a large fireplace and a 65" 4K TV mounted above. The side walls are not too large, and I needed something simple to house some pictures, a plant or two, few books, and my electronic receivers, etc. This was perfect. It's not giant, doesn't stick out, and seems plenty sturdy. The wood is quality (it's not particle or something that will break with a decent amount of weight without feeling concerned.

It took about 30 minutes to put together... not bad at all. They even provide some brackets to mount to your wall for extra stability if you want (didn't feel the need to do this - seemed excessive).

Considering shelving at a high end furniture store is going to run you $500 for something similar in looks, this was a steal. I wouldn't be surprised if the price is upped on this.

I will say if you're going for some elaborate shelving or have a HUGE wall to fill, I'd probably look for something more bulky. This is fine if you have 3-4 feet of wall to work with, but if you have a LARGE wall space outside of TV/fireplace you need to add shelving too, try something else.

Perfect for it's intended use (small wall, simple TV component/shelving).

Love this! It is a great piece at this price point and was super easy to put together. It came with everything needed (except a screw driver) and took me about 20 mins. It seems to be very high quality and sturdy and looks great in my living room. The only word of caution is once you connect the top & bottom sections, be careful moving it as the two pieces are only secured in the back. I tried to pick up the whole unit from the top section to move it and the front started to come apart :). I would definitely recommend this or purchase it again.

This shelf arrived packaged very well and I saw no visible defects or scratches, so right off the bat I was happy. The unit is a beautiful espresso color and the material is good quality, it looks more expensive then it was. My mother and I put it together in about 20 minutes and it is relatively easy. Had she not been there to help it would've taken a bit longer because the boards probably would've been hard to align to the sides of the unit without someone else holding it for me while I screwed them in with the Allen wrench. I do want to note that the shelves themselves do have a side that to me was obviously the bottom because it is not as smooth as the top side. The directions don't note that and I only noticed as I had attached the first shelf and was running my hand across it. That was the only issue we ran into, but very glad we noticed it right off the bat!

I LOVE THIS SHELF! Shipping took a little while but was expected, wonderfully packaged, easy to assemble but on one part a pre-drilled hole was missing, easy fix for my husband. The only other thing was after attaching back brackets it creates a gap in the top and bottom pieces but once you load the shelves full of stuff it weighs the gap back closed. I do still definitely recommend.
