How did I live without this. I've been smudging drawings and paintings for decades.....but no more. This is a very nice product. Sturdy and perfectly sized for most work done on paper and on a table. Not meant for easel work.

It is thick, sturdy, completely see-through. On smooth surfaces, it will slide along with you with only a little pressure and you can just add nonslip mats if you need it to stay. It can stay put on a mild incline. with no additional measures. It rises almost 2" off the surface that you put it on so there is plenty of space underneath that the bar will not touch your work. It does not bend when you rest on it to do work and it is long enough that I can work on a good side piece all at one.
