Whole Soft Wheat Berries Have Many Uses
MizJonesJune 27, 2016
I make bread and pies all the time. I'm always playing around with various homemade mixtures that will give me a good texture and flavor. So far, Great River's Seven Grain is my favorite. But this is nice because I can grind them to add something extra to my dough, use them in soups and stews, or bake them with salt and oil for snacks. A good link for uses for wheat berries: h(...)

Got this for sprouting and it sprouts beautifully! I then dehydrate and grind it into sprouted flour. I also let some sprouts grow into wheat grass and both my family and my chickens love it! Also grind some unsprouted and of course it makes nice flour either way. Excellent grain!

Love this product

Love this product! This version is incredibly fresh tasting. I grind it in my Vitamix Dry Blender attachment. One cup of grains yields about 1.5 cups of ground flour. It only takes 1 minute on high variable... Also, besides it being healthy without all the GMO's and pesticides it rises up nicely for biscuits and cakes and cookies. It is not a bread flour though as it is too light and does not have gluten added.
