this is a very good item. i have read bad reviews but can't imagine why someone would not be satisfied unless there is some type of professional full page magnifier.........which would cost a good 4 times more than this item. the lighting is good and the page is magnified for comfortable reading. the item is sturdy but does need to adjusted just right for balance. if the gooseneck was a bit longer and more flexible this would be perfect.

It's a great light, but It doesn't work for me. If I am setting the goose neck brings the light too high for reading. Magnification is great. maybe if it could be more flexible it would work. Cam it be returned? I imagine there would be a restocking fee...Thank you.

Wish the magnifier was better quality -the short cord makes for limited use when using on a surface such as a table for jigsaw puzzles or quilting. Casts shadows, wish I had purchased a true magnifier glass and not the magnifier sheet this item uses.
