These steps were part of our above-ground pool purchase in 2006. In 2016, after chlorine and sun damage (and a few extra hefty guests), they started to crack. We visited our local pool store, and this exact model of replacement was being sold for $598. Thanks to Innovaplas, we saved quite a bit of money. Great quality. We have an above-ground pool with a deck around the top. My husband 'cut off' the ladder,' leaving a 6" length handles lower than the decking, and simply lowered the handles into the holes on the composite decking. This is an excellent quality pool stair steps. We put a 50 lb bag of sand in the third step (it's made to hold the sand) which helps to keep the stairs submerged. You'll need to replace the sand bag each year, otherwise algae/mold will form in the bag.

We were replacing our old Biltmor Above Ground Step..they have made improvements and it is even more sturdy..we have it attached to a wooden deck and it is secure and adds a stability that as we get older and a bit more fluffy we can easily get in and out rather than just a ladder.
