I used this too for removal not application. Its the 3rd tool I tried for removing caulk and it worked well. The plastic scraping part was very durable and stoid up to alot of scraping. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was for design. The pointy metal part made it difficult to use is corners. Good tool.

I only had to use the rubber end. I didn't realize when buying that it had 3 different sizes and I was happy to see that because I changed it to the smallest one for what I was doing. I was able to use the sides to scrape off the excess easily as well.

I am currently in the process of remodeling a home to prepare it for sale and needed a tool to clean out old grout as well as help shape the new. The product arrived on time and we were set to use it immediately. The blade scraped out the old grout quickly. The squeegee end worked well for corners. The caulk tool was an excellent investment. It's sturdy and better made than the $10+ kits sold at the home improvement stores. I highly recommend this product.
