Excellent Charger for NP-BX1 Battery

Great charger for the NP-BX1 batteries for my Sony cameras. Simple, small, and works well. I've had it for years no problems.

Had the unit for about two months, and so far it has worked well. I like the large LCD charging readout which you can see from a great distance.
Works well for Sony NP-BX1 Batteries

A good charger for Sony NP-BX1 batteries. The screen showing charging level is a nice feature, as is the USB port so you can charge additional devices. One issue I noticed when using this charger is that the battery fits very snuggly so much so that it peeled back the sticker on my battery which caused some issues when trying to place the battery back in the camera.

You need this if you want to charge a sony battery outside the camera. I can keep a spare battery ready while I am using the camera. If you are charging the battery inside the camera, the camera may not be used for photographing.
This is nice since the camera's battery level indicator isn't very accurate

This charger works as advertised. And the display shows the level to which the batery is charge. This is nice since the camera's battery level indicator isn't very accurate. The one thing about this charge that isn't clear is which direction the battery goes in. The battery will go in multiple ways but will only work if it is in the one correct way. There are arrows to indicate direction but the documentation does not clearly specify which arrows need to be used for proper insertion. Fortunately, inseting the battery the wrong way does not seem to harm the charger or the battery so once you plug it in, if the level indicators don't turn on, you can change the battery to the correct direction.
