I'll tell you, there is nothing as pleasing as opening this box and seeing so much of this candy there. In fact, if you haven't ordered this yet, then you are NOT ready for the sheer volume of candy that arrives. lol. It is just immense, and the smell of the candy is just amazing! So if you are ordering this, then you know full well what Bit O'Honeys taste like, or you wouldn't be ordering this, would you? No surprises here, it is what it is. But keep in mind that you will have MONTHS worth on hand. I immediately considered that I would grow sick of these things, but nope... five pounds of honey taffy couldn't break me one bit. Loved every last one of them. I ordered this back in July, and I am just now finished with that order (October). About to order another round of em. Love this candy. HIGHLY recommended, just don't open the box around co-workers or similar - they will think you have a problem and will probable hold an intervention.

Just what I ordered - 5 pounds of chewy goodness.

I see that there have been complaints here about product freshness and condition on arrival. I didn't have any problems with my order at all. The individual pieces look, feel, and taste exactly like the Bit O'Honey (bar) I bought at the local grocery last week.

My order was fulfilled by Common Cents Distributors (https://www.amazon.com/sp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=1&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&orderID=113-3102444-5971435&seller=A1DXDVBCN6JWTB&tab=&vasStoreID=) and although there was no vendor indicated on the product page when I made my purchase, their logo was printed prominently on the package. The shipment arrived in a double-walled polypropylene bag which had a label stating nutritional information and product ingredients and was marked with an expiration date of 11/01/2019 (rest assured that I will not be setting any part of my purchase aside to verify if this is a valid date - I expect it to be ancient history by Valentine's Day).

I was a little hesitant to purchase at first because some of the reviews noted, melted product, wrappers that wouldn't come off, no flavor and expired product. None of these were true in my case. The product came promptly, packaged in a sealed bag, candy was fresh, easy to unwrap and flavorable. Great supplier. Will use again.

I've ordered these a couple of times... First bunch looked just like the picture here... second batch looked slightly different. I thought I used the same seller the the second was from Sweet Gourmet for sure and came in a white and gold bag. Anyway, the first bag was perfect! Nice and soft-ish candy... loved them. Second bag the candies were all pretty hard. Like they've been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for a long time. They still taste great though. Took off one star because of how hard the second bag of candy was. 5* for first bag though.

I have ordered this 5 lb bag on Amazon twice now and I'm pleased with the quality of the candy and speed in which both orders were sent. This is also a great candy product to send to military addresses in parts of the world where it is not practical to send chocolate (because chocolate melts in the heat). Bit-O-Honey does much better in the heat. In fact, I think it is better when it is a bit warm and prefer to enjoy them once they've been in my pocket for a while and softened up a bit from the heat.
