Favorite candy since childhood

Loved this candy for 75 years... since pre WWII... It use to come in the same sized pieces laid alternately on a waxed strip of paper... about 8 bars ... then wrapped in a Bit-O-Honey wrapper. As a child, I thought the pieces were too few per package... now I can purchase them in a 3 pound bag... individually wrapped... YUMMMMM!!! :-} It is still my FAVORITE candy... but the amount of almonds has gotten less and the almond flavor is not as strong as it use to be. But, that will not deter me from purchasing my 3lb bag. Thanks Amazon... and I must say that when I placed my order with Amazon... it was the FIRST item that I got in the mail. Seller was VERY prompt. And the bars are not HARD as if they had been sitting on the shelf a long time... the bars are very chewable and fresh. I will continue to purchase these candies until I am no longer here... (as I am 80 years old) :-} Try em' you will like em'!

These are so good! Chewy, nutty and delicious. Original recipe. This has been one of my favorite candies since I was a little girl and I still LOVE them just as much now. I read some reviews that claimed they were hard or stale. These are fresh and perfect. The label even has a sale by date! I included a pictures. Enjoy!

When I was a little kid (I am now 78) I would buy these at the local store (2 for a penny). They may cost much more now, but Bit-o-honey is still a great treat for folks who like peanuts or peanut butter and for those of us who have fond memories of 2 for a penny candies (smile).
