Great Quality for Audio and Video!
Mitchell Baumann✓ Verified Purchase•January 18, 2017
I was making a collective film of my fathers and grandparents trip to Africa. The total file was 21.3GB and was on the edge on to get the 50gb or 25gb. I made the decision to choose the 50gb just in case it needed the extra room.
I was extremely pleased with the video and audio quality that was produced when burned onto the Verbatim Blu-Ray.
My grandparents were so excited they wanted more so I had to order more.
If your looking to burn a copy of a great blu-ray quality use Verbatim.

I use the Verbatim BD-R 25GB 6X blu ray disks for back-up purposes (BD data disks). The reading/burning device is Pioneer BDR-XD05S with USB 3.0 connection. I have been able to burn more than ten disks without any flaws. Excellent product!

I ordered this item and the few discs that I used failed to produce a verified copy. I sent it back and Amazon replaced it with the same model number and those discs have worked perfectly...so far (2/3 of spindle done with verified copies). I would like to purchase this again but am afraid about getting a defective batch, even though Amazon is good about making things right with the customer. Verbatims are usually excellent and for some reason the 1st DL 50GB 25-disc spindle that I bought was defective, although the replacement was fine. And the price went up since I bought it!? Hmmm...
Not know if drive or disc were faulty.[UPDATE: Was the software!]

UPDATE: Discs work great, my issue was because of using cdrkit instead of cdrtools in Linux, anybody using Linux, please use cdrtools because cdrkit is unmaintained and will just produce coaster after coaster when using dual layer BD!
ORIGINAL: First one I burned, failed when switching layers, no idea if it was the burner or the disc. I'm afraid of burning a second one as they are kind of expensive to be disposable on trials.

The only BD-Rs that have been consistently successful for me

I do videography and disc authoring on the side, so I need reliable media. After trying a few different brands, this turned out to be the brand that gives practically no problems during burning (using a combination of LG and Samsung writers) and very few people contacting me about disc issues. The only thing about these discs that I wish would change is the blue text on the top of the disc, which will show through any label area that has no printing on it.
