Good Light-Weight Air Hose!
David✓ Verified PurchaseNovember 18, 2016
Good light weight air hose for use with pneumatic tools. I use mine with a brad nailer. Straightens out nicely with very little effort. Doesn't kink or pinch off. Appears to be very well made.
high quality but still seems to love keeping a memory

apparently high quality but still keeps a coil/has memory despite stretching thoroughly as described in various places and storing in various ways. i guess it's just a matter of using it a lot and over time it becomes the "dead snake" that i'm so desperately after. my friend has a hitachi one that he uses for his building business and it's weighted nicely and goes wherever he wants without a memory fighting him. but he's had it for a decade so that is probably the difference.
Not worth premium price

Ordered this hose after my makita hose grew feet and walked.
This hose does what it's supposed to do.
The not so good is that it's very sticky/tacky.
This thing does not slide smoothly on any surface. I don't think it deserves the premium price. Your better off with a less expensive Makita, Hitachi or equivalent. $15-20 cheaper.
I would return it but it was the only hose I brought to the job site so I used it for the day.
An excellent air hose

A huge improvement over the rubber hoses I've been using and the polyurethane hoses in the past. The poly hoses I'd had previously had much (emphasis on much) stronger memory of being coiled up. More like a spring than a lay flat hose. This still wants to coil, but not aggressively like before. I really like it. I've left these lay out in the sun, under pressure for a couple weeks now and seen no degrading of the surface. That takes me to the rubber hoses. Indoors, out of the sun, they work fine. A rubber hose left out in the weather soon begins to check and fade. None of that here. These hoses replaced a couple rubber ones that finally started having blowouts. The rubber hoses were 3/8", a size larger, but since I'm running 1/4" air fittings I figured there shouldn't be much difference. I can tell no change in the amount of air coming out the business end of the hose. This is not a measured conclusion, just what it feels and acts like. They are much lighter than a rubber hose, thinner and more flexible.

The competition's swivel fittings are a nice touch, But, this hose has reuseable fittings, which is a big plus and potential money saver. The hose strain relief is quite nice, gives a good gripping surface for connecting the hoses. This hose has a bit more tendency to want to coil up than the competitions. Not a deal breaker, but not quite so cooperative. Still, an excellent air hose. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
Read this before you put ends on!!!

Ok, so my hose leaks and I still gave it a 4 star, heres why. On the end of the hose when you go to screw in whatever type of adapter you use the slot to put a wrench on is slim. Right next to this slim opening to put the wrench on the metal is a plastic part (shown in black on the picture) that has a hex part that looks like its made for a wrench. Now I didn't want to go find the right size wrench (laziness) and couldn't get the adjustable wrench I had to fit on the metal part so I just put it on the plastic (against my better judgement but I just wanted to get it done) and tightened my end on. Now it leaks because you shouldn't use the plastic to tighten the ends on. The only reason I don't give this awesome easy to use light weight hose 5 stars is because of the small area to put a wrench on with the big area on the plastic right next to it tempting people with bad judgement (me) to do what they know they shouldn't. Otherwise this is great for most small projects. If you are going to use a big pneumatic tool, an air chuck to blow a lot of air, or speed nail off sheer on a house or roof, then this is not big enough for you. Get a big hose for big project. If you are doing small projects you will love this hose that makes the rubber ones feel awkward and clumsy.
