I have had a koi pond for about 20 years, and I have had my share of nets. This fish net is fine but the screw on the handle is not tight so I have to check it constantly. Not sure I will buy this brand of net again unless the company can fit this issue. If the handle is not tight, I will lose the net in the pond. At 64, I now worry about getting into the pond.
The screw on the handle lengthens and shortens the handle, so this is a manufacturing issue.

Great telescoping feature.

This is a quality net. I use it mostly to skim leaves off the surface of my pond. It has a nice telescoping handle that locks in securely. The netting itself seems of good construction, with holes that large enough to allow tiny particulates to flow through easily (prevents clogging up), yet small enough to catch minnow sized fish. I generally keep the netting material tied up flat which makes it easy to skim the surface. I have had a lot of pond nets, but this one seems to be a real winner.
Telescoping pond net

I bought this net for my backyard pond. I need to remove leaves and debris from the bottom, move stones that fall in, and sometime catch the fish. This net has a nice opening with a flat part to scrape the bottom with, and the net is soft and large enough for the Koi. The handle telescopes out to about 6', which makes reaching the opposite side easier.
The only issue I have with it is that it the net ring seems to bend when I scoop up too much debris and lift it out. The net is pretty large, so it's easy to fill it up too much and then it gets too heavy. I would say you shouldn't lift more than a pound or two with it. Otherwise, it's a great net for routine maintenance.
