Guess I'll go buy some rocks...

I wasn't planning to use rocks to cover the liner as the design of the pond is modern, but "made in the USA" and product code is stamped in giant letters across the middle, which I didn't see untill I had unrolled and positioned the liner which was a struggle. Why there? Put it along the edge where it can be hidden! Or maybe label which side to face down and only print on that side!
and only reason i don't give 5 stars is that I still feel its more expensive than something like this should be

Works perfectly as a liner, and only reason i don't give 5 stars is that I still feel its more expensive than something like this should be, however, I also wouldn't advise on buying the thinner options out there. I even struck a portion with a spade as a test, and no puncture, so impressed with the durability of this heavy duty liner.
TOP NOTCH BEST OF THE BEST LINER, easy to use, thick and not to hard to form into place using two people. 5 STAR thanks PRIME

sadly my cheap liner from lowes ended up with a leak (thank you MR. Raccoon i suspect!) I woke up one morning to find my 1500 gal garden down to about 9 inches in depth...talk about panic mode! WHAT A NIGHTMARE! I rushed over to tractor supply and bought an above ground 300 gal tank and lined it with cheap plastic trash bag type liner from lowes and set up the extra filter i had on hand...filled it, did the water prep etc... for the next few days while that was getting ready, i kept leaky garden filled enough to manage....had to HURRY and buy a nice bigger better liner because we decided if we were going to replace the liner, we might as well make the garden a wee bigger than it was but in the same style. So i read all the info about liners and selected the EPDM2020 .....let me say, it's HEAVY, and thick but we managed well between the 2 of us. We had to take out our fountain, plants and layers of stone away in order to redo everything but after a lot of work and effort, i'm happy to report that this liner went in wonderfully (we bought the underlayment here on amazon too) I highly recommend you be sure to level your ground well, remove rocks as much as you can, lay the underliner, and then put in your liner, trim, use foam adhesive in areas if you use stones like we did for a partially above ground garden..our garden is a foot into the ground and the rest above....it's an open sun area and digging down will aid in keeping water cooler....besides the floating plants and water shade product (blue water treatment to help shade and keep algae away) HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU USE the UV CLARIFYING LIGHT either with your filter system OR a separate one in the pond..it WILL keep your water CLEAR! amazingly so....
Back to the liner....IT IS WONDERFUL, high quality and perfect for what i needed.....this whole process took 4 weeks so my fish lived beautifully in the temp quarters until new one was done and water conditions were right in the new one....new filter system installed (a good one with UV light), plants reinstalled etc...I lost 3 fish out of 33....(all Shubunkins) i was hoping to pull it off with no fish loss but sadly i did lose 3 in the process....i check every day using dip sticks and water testing kits to ensure quality is proper....filters are seeded properly. Good luck in your water gardening adventures!
Excellent choice, if you can pay the the extra

The EPDM pond liner is an excellent choice for a small to medium size pond. Unlike its stiffer/cheaper sister the HPDM liner, the EPDM is relatively flexible and can be contoured and "molded" to the shape and varying depths of the pond. But make no mistake; this pond liner (in the 20 X 20 size) is heavy and bulky. It really takes two or three people to get it unfolded and formed to the pond.

The liner is plenty strong. Excellent for resisting abrasions.
Just what I was looking for - pond/food safe and nice and thick!

This was a damn heavy liner, but it was exactly what I needed. Well, in fact, it was much longer than I needed, but that's my fault!

I used this pond liner as a liner for my self-watering plant container, and I wanted to make sure the material was thick (so it wouldn't leak) and pond safe (so I could grow vegetables for consumption). This liner fit both criteria.

It was a bit tough to get it positioned well, and it didn't like fitting into an L-Shaped trough, but it was much easier to use one big sheet vs cut 2 pieces and try to use seam tape (sadly, I tried both). In the end, it doesn't need to look pretty - the dirt covered all the imperfections anyway.

Point is, it worked!
