So far so good!

So far so good! Bought this to replace a pump that failed. Hopefully this one will last longer.
This is a very affordable pump even if you don't know anything about pumps.

I am using this in a garden fountain system and it seems to pump water very well. It's quite and doesn't really shake much. I like that it comes with an adapter for different hose connection widths. The lengthy power cord will also grant you flexibility in your setups.
It's about 10 dollars more expensive at Home Depot.

GREAT LITTLE PUMP!

Wow! What a great little motor for being so small. I made sure my fountain was the right measurements and It's such a relief to have a little pump that gives us no trouble at all. Yep..LOVE IT!

We purchased this in March 16, 2016, from Amazon, L.L.C. in anticipation of our spring activities. When we tried to install it in our fountain today, May 7, 2016, it didn't work. Another pump worked in the same application so there is no doubt in our minds that the pump was faulty to begin with. It is no longer eligible for return on Amazon because it is past its 30 days. While it has a 1 year warrantee period, we shop on Amazon for convenience. I am not interested in the hassle of dealing with the manufacturer and paying for shipping to return to the manufacturer for a $20.00 item.
Lasted 3 days and it died

The previous pump of this exact model died after 10 months. I thought it's easier to order a replacement so that I don't have to worry about the hose/connection installation issues. I put in the new pump and it lasted 3 days, and it died. This is garbage.
On the other hand, we have very good experience with Tetra and another water pump of Tetra (1000GPH) has been running fine for us for over 2 years. I recommend that you try Tetra instead.
