Photos in the reviews don't make sense

I"ve bought this several times for my mini pond. It will last 1-2 years tops. I don't know why there's all these great reviews with photos showing huge ponds when this is 7x10' Also one with workers in there with huge stones, uh no I'm pretty sure that would tear up this particular liner. You get what you pay for. Its fine if you don't mind re-doing your pond every couple years but for long term use it isn't going to cut it.
Cheap. Lightweight. Very easy to get a hole

Good price yes, but so light weight you can tear with fingers. Didn't think it would last and it didn't. Got a hole in just 1 week. If you need a liner for small pots or ornamental item this might work for you. But if you have an outdoor project don't waste your time with this. A bird could peck a hole in it. Critters would destroy it. I had to replace with firestone 45mil heavy duty liner. That stuff is awesome. More expensive, but even accidentally hitting with a spade it doesn't get a hole.
Great liner for something other than a pond!

I purchased about 8 or 9 of these "pond" liners. And not for building ponds. I sloped the ground around my house so water would run off away from the house. I then put these liners down and then put 6" cobble stone on top to hide the liners. We had a problem with our basement flooding during heavy rains. The liners will serve two purposes, one to direct water away from the house and the other to keep grass from growing up and through the cobble stone. And yes, in the picture is our newest little ham. Pardon all the leaves on that pretty cobble stone, haven't had a chance to clean them up.

It's a little hard to work with since it comes folded in alternating patterns. For a liner like the 10x13 ft this means you'll want a friend to help (or to be very careful with snags). Still, once installed it was fairly easy to adjust and has been able to handle somewhat of a beating. After covering a bunch of it in rocks, I've only managed to rub a small hole in it once. I count that as a win!
If I expand the pond any more, I'll probably start with TotalPond this time.

it leaked

i have to be honest i liked it until i got my waterfall all set up and realized that there is a leak in the liner. how disappointing i don't know what to do because its all don't and i put so much work into this project and now i need to either deal with the slow leak or go through all of the work replacing it and hope it comes out right. i would say invest in something sturdy if it is a big project like that unless you just need this to cover something that dent really matter.
